Ha ha that is proper lo fi. Everything sounds pretty minimal and compressed. I make quite a lot of house myself but its a bit more full on than your style lol. Just listening now though. Feeling your chords on the first one - really nice and just my kinda vibe.

Also, the artwork is nice.

Liking your style but I just wish the whole mix wasn't so compressed and lo fi. I mean I get that that is the point sort of its just a shame because there's some nice music here but I feel it would be difficult to play in a club because the lack definition in mids and highs people just would wonder what's going on I think.

Yeah fair point, I think if it was played through any PA itd sound shit and people wouldn't necessarily get what it's meant to sound like. It was originally mean to be dance music to fall asleep to, like when you're at the end of a party and drifting off, so probably best just on headphones anyway :)

i like the composition, the vibe is mellow and calm. i listened to it on speakers and headphones and the only real advice i would give you is on the low side wich seems a bit heavy and it's kind of cloggging up the mix. It's not a major problem that once looked into would really bring out those warm mids.

i would say it'probably a bit overcompressed (did you use compression on the mixbus?), or low end needs a little balancing, probably a few db gain reduction on the lowside of things.   i'm no expert so take my humble opinion as it is. cheers!

Thanks for listening bud, plus the tips - the eq and overuse of compression was a stylistic choice, for better or worse ;) you know when you hear music coming from the room next door or something? Weird I know, but I kind of like the roundedness of the sounds, just feels softer to me. Appreciate you taking the time to listen and feedback though 

by no means am i saying that is "wrong" what you did. there is no right or wrong, as long as it sounds good to you, mission complete! (sometimes, more often than not, i can't reach that point where i can say "this is it" so i envy you for this)

i know that sound that you speak of, i bet my neighbors hate me for it, hehe :))
