Roger Linney puts out a lot of good acid folk, droney electronics, etc. on his label. Although they might be better served by a bandcamp site than doing CD-Rs in 2018. For fans of Sproatly Smith, Grey Malkin, The Hare and the Moon, etc.

Is folk music viewed as traditional? Then Mulligan and O'Hare all the way

seriously though, does Luke Kelly count cos i can't hang with me Ma's John McCormack 78's or Vashti Bunyan lp's, "Black Velvet Band" is the real deal imho

what about Goran Bregovic's soundtracks for Kusturica, cos i love his trumpets?

what about the Grateful Dead & American influences on European folks classics, eg: Peggy O, from "The Bonnie Lass o' Fyvie" that then morphed into Joan Baez's Fennario into Simon & Garfunky into one of the Dead's most sublime renditions

it's been a long day, edit 4 div, Martin & Eliza Carthy were on my ex's playlists constantly
