Don't think I've listened all the way through Whistleblower, I'll have to give it some attention and see if there's any evidence for those claims :)

circa 2014 is quite nice tho, definitely feels like a proto-Visa. He's using what seems like a lot of the same effects and techniques as on Visa, but this stuff is definitely a bit more raw and at times aggressive in tones and sounds. Not nearly as refined as Visa is, feels a bit like a demo at moments, but very much enjoyable to my ears.

Anima, Multila, Entain and the first Uusitalo. I like all of his work but those, those are magical.

I just really love all the moving parts behind Four Quarters/Whistleblower era. But yes, the early stuff is epic.

I wonder if new VD stuff is on the way...or did he retire or something? Over the years I've grown to appreciate his stuff more and more. 

sasu is sooooo underrated but most of it is certainly not your everyday kind of stuff. love a difficult finn

He is similar to Autechre in the way that he has honed and shaped his own sound and style over the years.
