Just had my first listen through this stunning release. Fehlmann keeps getting better and better. He has already put out two prior releases this year -- the excellent collab with Terrence Dixon and "Los Lagos" (which I had on my end of year list). This soundtrack might be the most enjoyable of the three to me though.

Really beautiful, haunting, humourous fusion of traditional German folk music with Fehlmann's trademark dubbed out techno sounds. He crams so many details into such short pieces here -- each one is truly evocative of the time and place he is trying to soundtrack.

Highly recommended.
