New Ochre is out today, I had no idea! Sounds excellent so far.

After multiple listens I am in love with this album. Ochre makes my mind soar in a way no other artist can. Late contender for AOTY.

woohoo! I fucking love ochre. I feel like he's kind of under-appreciated. He's really good, I love his melodic style. He's been going on for something like 15 years now. 2009's Like dust in the balance still sounds fresh to me, almost 10 years old. 

This is the first time I've listened to Ochre since that one LP he released in 2004. I'm not that familiar with him TBH, but this brand new album is lush. I especially like the track Sugar Tree - sounds so majestic. The chord progression and melodic work in this release seem similar to Plaid's two latest LPs as well.

Perhaps this isn't the most informative take on it, but it's my impression thus far after two full listens.

I'm a fan of Ochre generally, but somehow this one is striking me as a bit self-consciously soundtrack-y. Maybe further listens required.

unexpected and awesome

All very cinematic and lush. This guy is new to me so bagged everything I can of his. Starting this year with a load of new inspiring stuff. Thanks watmm.

Yeah I thought this a little from 1st listen but on further plays am liking this more and more, really lovely stuff.
