Guest Ant Acid
sounds good, sounds like you're loosening up a bit. Do you record your 303 + 606 into one channel on your computer, or keep them seperate? a bit of editing and some atmospherics/pads/etc/samples to fill out the sound a bit would make a nice little track well done Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/9625-acid-terbine-15-minue-303606-jam/#findComment-196359 Share on other sites
Chris Moss Acid
it yeah was recorded from my mixer [minor eq] into my laptop, no eq no compression raw as fook. i coulda put some pads and shit in. but i been doing that alot recently and i wanted a freak out. the 303 is going thought a kaoss pad with reverb and later i use the sampler for a bassline and bring in a 4 step rave line. the 606 is going through a boss mt-1 metal zone distortion pedal with the distortion rolled nealy off, just to give it that UI sound. how i cant wait for a Sh-101 to make it even more of a rave! Boss pedals are the shizzy. I have a couple of "stereo" (ie built in chorus) synths, and one of the evilest sounds ever is a big detuned jungle bass going through TWO different Boss distortions - one on the left output and one on the right. If you say so. But I think CHORDS are the main thing yr missing. You already have squelch! JX-3Ps are excellent too. One thing they can do that Junos can't is oscillator hard sync - the Arched Maid Via RDJ sound Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/9625-acid-terbine-15-minue-303606-jam/#findComment-196395 Share on other sites
Chris Moss Acid
yeah i sometimes use ableton and vsti's but its far much trouble then it's worth.. i done this on the Butryic acidosis tapes when i first got my 303.. but now i only sometimes use abelton and i've completely stopped using ableton and hardware together for gigs.. if i take my laptop i just use my laptop as decks. works out good.. i found this out when i played at bangface.
