Maybe my favorite CPU act returns for a double LP in February. Another New Year’s surprise!

Got the vinyl copy from CPU a few days back and it's a very nice album. 'Sunken Paths' in particular is really doing it for me, one of the best CPU releases yet I reckon.

That Aldergrove track on the bandcamp is NICE.

Having just played it at a decent volume I can confirm that 'locus reave' is an absolute banger.

This is solid as fuck. More atmospheric (and somehow more complete) than their debut album - not that I didn't like that. But this is a different beast altogether. Standouts for me are: Embers, Lyre, Aldergrove, Sunken Paths and Cast on a Clock Face. These alone are worth the price of the album.

Best thing I've heard so far this year.

Agreed.  Mikron is a step above most.  This album kills.

Great album, I went and got the record.

Totally addicted to this right now. Skittering drum patterns and haunting melodies. 

IDM doesn’t get much better than this. Don’t sleep on this one, friends.

sadly didn’t do much for me even in the third listen. little bit bland. don’t know. not bad but not memorable.

Brilliant for driving to. I think it's pretty solid throughout tbh.

Hot diggity,  this label has been on my radar for some while now, but i never got to listening to their stuff until this one and it was an insta-buy. currently listening to their earlier one and it's grrrreat. need to dive into the other stuff on the label.
