Sensual Sax App for IOS!!! :O

Wow check this out!!! Just downloading this currently for IOS. Sounds pretty amazing. Can't wait to use it!!!

Embertone has some really good apps on iOS (I know they're ports from software). I really like the Jubal Flute, a lot.

The flute demo sucks but I can hear it sounds very good. I want to hear some Herbie Mann style funk on it lol.

The "sax" sound in that is nothing but two raw, single cycle waveforms from a Kawai K1m with no fancy programming or anything, only pitch bend and aftertouch controlling the mix between the main waveform and the high pitched one that I was bringing in occasionally for sort of feedback/overblowing type effects and a tiny bit of quick, velocity controlled auto-bend on the attacks of the notes to give it a little bit more variety. I wasn't at any point trying to make a saxophone sound, it just ended up that way. Does the app in question sound more realistic than a raw waveform from a K1m? Sure, but it's a way, way closer race than it should be, especially considering I was intentionally going for a synthetic, unnatural digital synth sound not a realistic instrument sound.

I just had a mess around with it and its fun even though it's cheesy. Just needs finessing which I'm sure can be achieved.

For the record, cheesy is good and I think emulating real instruments is the most boring goal there is, but I love the ROMpler uncanny valley, so my last post wasn't necessarily a criticism in the traditional sense, just pointing out that if "lifelike sax emulation" is your goal, the demo video isn't selling it.  As a source of cheesy, uncanny valley fake saxophone sounds it seems pretty good.
