Mark Leckey

So I've been reading up about him. It's interesting but I cannot help but feel he'd still have been languishing in obscurity if it hadn't been for the Turner Prize.

Is anyone else on here heard of him?

i know him more as a visual artist who has dipped his toes in music making (kinda like how wolfgang tillmans also produces techno on the side).  he had a full show at moma ps1 which usually means hes pretty firmly established in the art world?  i dont remember much about the show other than a big blow-up cartoon animal (meh) and a series of speaker-stack-sculptures, which were cool as objects but the audio piece playing through them was forgettable.  not sure what you mean by overrated youtuber lol

Don’t know much about his work other than Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore - which is brilliant. I follow him on insta.
