'A melody drags me back' is one of the first things I ever heard from Kirby. I'm also hoping the V/VM test era works will all get a re-release.

Yes that 1997 Phthalo release was definitely something that got me most interested in his work.

A mystery why he's never released it on bandcamp. I've managed to secure a copy and am pleased to discover that some of these tracks are very good indeed. The last piece, 'I'll Be Seeing You' clearly forming the blueprint for what would be his trademark sound in the decades that followed.
