Always loved me some Bass Clef -- but this one is a deviation from the stuff he was putting out on Punch Drunk, et al.  Almost beatless, but in no way ambient. 

Lushness on overdrive.

Would love to hear this performed live. Never rocked to beatless tunes so hard.

Yes, it was great. This one is more rough around the edges - great in a different way.

This is great. Never heard the artist before but it's a really memorable piece of work. Seems like he/she is purposely using a limited palette of sonic tones and trying to get as much variation out of that as possible. If you've not heard this album yet, try and give it a listen. Recommended.

Check the Bugbranded ep and his release on PAN. Top notch.

Oh and I almost forgot “Acid Tracts” - heady collection of mutant acid house.
