I'm guessing it's an older writer judging by the age of the tracks. I'm working on a theory you can guess people's age based on aphex tracks.

i do love all the tracks in the list i might add, and got a huge amount of time for the older works - especially IZ-US and the entirety of SAW 85-92...my list would probably have to stretch beyond 20

Yeah I was wondering this as well. It's probably true that younger aphex fans will tend to like Drug use-> Tuss -> Syro more than the earlier stuff.

Also Syro somehow manages to feel modern while using a lot of older tech. No way it could have been made more than 10 years ago I think.
