I can only imagine it's a stylistic choice on your part, but I'd love to hear what you'd do with more boom in the kick drum. Feel like in these songs it would prolly clutter up the other sonics in the mix, though.

usually I don't like a too boomy bass that much. Usually I make sure everything between 100 and 200 Hz is well controlled
