The thing I find shit about the HVL thing is that he's doing alright. He's posted that Ableton remix own his own YouTube and the referenced it on an interview. Why not just name drop the original?

if you mean, one of the korg monologue factory presets, i'm pretty sure those are generally free to use in song recordings (or, korg would need to specify in the manual somewhere what copyright if any applies to the presets, which i don't think is the case here).
