Guest Polar-
Hello everyone, first I'd like to welcome myself to the forum :) And it seems like a great one too. I've made an Elektro-rock-like tune, it's about 95% complete. Please tell me what you think! I'm pretty new to electronic music, but I find it quite amusing. Here's the song: http://medlem.spray.se/dasskost2000/ <--- click the link that comes up. BCM
Hello! Just listened to your tune, yeah I think you've got some good ideas...I like the robot voice - don't really like the sounds you've used - sound a bit cheap. What was this made one? I think the arrangement and stuff is actually quite good, but sounds quite cheesy and a bit europop at the moment... I think with a whole lot of fattening up and also thinning out (get rid of the voice that says "annihilating rythym" defintely, get rid of the more poncy stuff and you might have the beginnings of a good tune... P.S. read the rules! Guest Polar-
Thanks for the views! Yeah, I come from chip music, so i have love for a little 'clunky' sound :) And I have a little crush on 'intentional cheese'.. sorry, can't help it The drums are some 909 stuff, and some samples i've recorded myself. They're very dry, which may add to the cheapish-sound. Also I use an organ and some VSt's, and the robot voice was made on an very old vocoder I borrowed from a friend. Still learning the ropes of producing, so yeah i definately should work on a whole lot of fattening up. Apologizes for me being lazy and not reading the rules :embrassed: Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/9692-new-song-annihilate/#findComment-199586 Share on other sites
BCM
Don't worry about the rules. In fact, fuck the rules. It's just a silly way of saying hello and confusing new people.. Anyway, keep 'em coming, got any chip stuff - I quite like chip stuff. You'e not from Micromusic are you? Guest Polar-
I'm from a small group called 8000hz, although we haven't been active since the days of FT2 =) I have a couple of tunes im still working on that I'll bundle with this song (Annihilate). It's a four-track EP with a little story attached to it. This first song is about an alien race (known as "Teh Bots") attacking human kind. So yeah, with this totally original plot and all, I guess it's in it place to have some cheesy elements :) Edited June 23, 2006 by Polar- Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/9692-new-song-annihilate/#findComment-203352 Share on other sites
