Wanted: Roland JV 1080

There are some going for around £200 on eBay but I'd prefer to get it off someone here really. 

Can't help you out getting one, but good choice! AFAIK it's still the best selling synth of all time, so you should be able to find one someplace pretty easily.

Thanks man  Yeah, it appears to produce sounds very similar to what I have in my head so seemed right.

If I'm lucky this may be a birthday present. I hear the presets everywhere now I know what it sounds like.

Yeah I've read bits of that already. Thanks man! I just love the whole 90s crusty synth sounds. Misspent youth watching x files I think.

Really? I always thought the dx-7 was the most ubiquitous synth. 

AFAIK the JV1080 beat it by the end of the 90s, but I could be wrong.  I might be thinking of Roland's claim that it was USED ON MORE RECORDINGS than any other synth.
