JAMPAC, the music lobbying organization founded by former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic that has been fighting music censorship is holding a benefit on July 22 at the Kitsap Fairgrounds in Bremerton, WA. Dig this line-up: Novoselic's band, Sweet 75, his former Nirvana partner David Grohl's band, Foo Fighters, plus Shudder To Think, Wool, Sky Cries Mary, Afghan Whigs, and Bjork with DJ Aphex Twin. Haven't heard of this appearance before. Wonder if it actually happened?

Wow, that's really going back a ways... funny if he was known as "DJ Aphex Twin" back then!

Maybe is was just an early way of letting folk know it was a DJ set and not some madman squelching live.
