I dunno, it could work like ATCQ's final album did, but Guru is/was the only Gang Starr MC.  This presser kind of dodges the question of if and how he features on the album.  Some unreleased bars before he died?  Some quotables recycled for hooks?  Maybe not at all - just the guest MCs?

Also pls correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he and Premier were completely estranged at the time of his death?  Someone in the comments section (lol) seems pretty sure of it and then some.

Not sure about where they stood at the time of death, but I'm sure you can find out with a Google search. I imagine the album will have mostly unreleased bars. There was a single a few weeks ago, "Family and Loyalty", and Guru had two verses on it, both unreleased as far as I could tell. Either that or Premier figured out a way to access the beyond with his MPC
