I'm saving Brexit, what are you doing?

Recommended Posts

A guy who I went to uni with (a cunt) is currently running against Boris Johnson in the forthcoming GE. If he manages to win, then Boris can't be PM, so I'm periodically leaking stuff to the press about this guy.

Impressed? You should be.

Right now I'm considering eating a microwave ready lasagna, this thread has made me hungry.

Quorn lasagne is only good when you chuck a load of cheese on top, sadly. Actually, doesn't this apply to most frozen lasagnes bought from the supermarket?

"They're about guns, lasers, robots with laser guns in space. Monsters from the future. Explosions. Sylvester Stallone doing a backflip on top of a spike while Robocop carries a ghost up a mountain. Bombs and swords and that... IDM is awesome."

Last night my wife made a hybrid of cauliflower cheese & mac and cheese.

It was pretty mental

My wife’s family has been on the veggie lasagna tip for a while. Instead of meat, the filling is usually grated carrots, spinach and black olives. The rest is basically the same. Honestly, though at first I wasn’t crazy about it, I love it now and don’t look back.
I’d love to try a vegan/gluten-free lasagna, if someone out there has a good recipe.

get some pine nuts in there next time.

shame pine nuts are so bloody expensive

Not to mention that the closest Trader Joes to me hasn't had them in stock for the better part of this year. I'm wondering what is going on with that? Is there some big shortage or something?

Edit

After a little research, I've found these two articles that paint a bleak picture for pine nuts...

I do that then eat most the spinach first, get it out the way then on to the good stuff. I leave a bit for balance tho, I'm not an 8 yr old.

Yikes - I didn't realize they were slowing production in the US as well.

Canadian production is in danger too from all of the deforestation, in part probably from millions and millions of acres of pine destroyed by the mountain pine beetles.

Pine nut vegan lasagna will be like caviar soon!

Oi you fucking bald cunt.

I'm currently doing a massive, awe-inspiring shit. And currently thinking about a movie title to describe it with.....

Hoof to the roof.

Claw to the floor.

Pincer to the sphincter.

What are everyone's favorite varieties of lettuce ?

I personally like black seeded simpson the best.  It isn't the most long-lasting, but the mouthfeel is absolutely worth it.  Deliciously mild and soft.

Hey. Look. If you want to talk about lettuce, you can start a thread about lettuce. This is a thread about lasagna.

Talking about lasagna. When it's bolognese, I always add slices of pineapple on top. Good stuff! Really saves it! ;D
