Carr is finally getting the recognition he deserves, but I have to agree on the packaging; the digital's a bit pricey through Bandcamp as well.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

Carr's also revived his own Trident imprint and released the Reset EP last year, this year's first is a re-release of Warm Machines EP, first released on Revoke, long out of print; For Those That Knoe's curated collection of Carr's back catalogue as Knoe 5/1, 5/2 and 5/3 are also essential, as is 5/4, the A Future-Retrospective of Art compilation with some previously unreleased tracks. The Knoe series are vinyl only, though, but worth your while unless you already have the early EPs from 2001-2004. Distant Systems on FireScope also stands out for me.

Warm Machines EP was released recently in digital, Reset EP has been available for a while.
