Recorded in 2019, Atom TM's and Jacek Siekiewicz's album "Stal" (polish translation for "steel") is now being released as a joint venture between More Music Agency, Recognition and NN.

The meticulously produced physical release of "Stal" came out last month on double vinyl. It is now being completed by its digital release, both, on Jacek's "Recognition" and AtomTM's "NN" imprint. The parallel Bandcamp issues will be followed by the full digital release on all standard download- and streaming platforms.

You may create your own set of adjectives when it comes to describing "Stal", since both musicians prefer not to contaminate your experience with words.

The idea of the album was born out of the invitation to perform together at the Tauron Nowa Muzyka Festival. Improvised, five-hour liveact became the starting point for a recording session. Based on the ideas conceived at the festiwal, Sienkiewicz and Schmidt created together 10 original compositions of insect electronica. Lasting less than 50 minutes, „STAL” (translating to „steel” in Polish) emits aura of coolness and precision. Corroded, magnetic sounds combine together into abstract soundscapes, full of surprising paths and interlinks. Dipping into Sienkiewicz’s and Schmidt’s music resembles looking at rough metal with electron microscope. Asymmetrical shapes and deep textures remind the listener that there are no limits to artistic creativity. At the same time „STAL” fuses the possibilities of modern technology coupled with the imagination of two outstanding electronic artists. 

I cherish a lot what Sienkiewicz music, I'll have a listen for sure!
