i think each of the shapes represents a band member

but i can't figure out which is which

i havent seen any pix from this tour so i like to imagine they were dressed up in large cosplay outfits as the large circular shapes and the cover art is photos of the performances

but not knowing which is which helps with the mystery

I noticed the OneEight covers have the shading on the letterforms where OneSix has it on the background.

The black matching the website background makes for some interesting form vs void exploration and is a nice touch.

I think it has a bit of both worlds, good and bad, it's both in there, you just have to know where to look

Love it. Ae Live art is the best they've had since Untilted.

They work for me. There wasn't much that could really be done with the onesix logo across numerous examples, especially within the expected colour scheme scope, but there is some nice '16/'18 differentiation, and each of the individual artworks is already recognisable to me.

The overall artwork is pretty good. Accentuates the sort of scuffy, squishy, charged node meticulous qualities. Reminds me of Theme of Sudden Roundabout, which seemed built around sounds glancing off at the last moment before impact. That whole album seems to withhold the electro beat punchline and just swim in the resultant new patterns (partly continued in Untilted).

They should provide low res pixelated versions of the artwork bundled in with the mp3s

i prefer them to the AE_LIVE 14/15 ones tbh, good to see that they're introducing a bit of texture/grain instead of just using solid colors

I think nothing TDR ever made is mind-blowing. But it's not bad either so doesn't distract from the music I guess

When i did a google image search for the artwork all your avatars showed up.

(I still can't unzip the files due a lack of space on my HD, which probably won't be clearing itself anytime soon.)
