i love this group but not sure about this. it sounds pretty tinny and unpleasant to me... is that just youtube compression?

I love Massive Attack, but this is not good and completely unnecessary.

I agree, the spoken word over beats format is lazy in comparison to the meticulousness of previous Massive Attack productions.

Love some new massive attack, but this is like watching that ancient zeitgeist doc/movie. Apart from the spoken word, it does sound interesting.  But that spoken word...meh... no. Not while I want to listen to some decent tunes.

This isn't even up to par for a 2nd-rate Breadtube channel. After that live performance last year (or was it the year before) with the DNA sequences flashing in the background, I'm not really sure what they're going for. Has he been doing work on video exhibits for museums or something? It all has that vibe.

what happened to tactfulness or subtlety when tackling political topics in music?  

Is this an audiobook documentary under the guise of a new release? I'm slightly confused tbh.

Don't get me wrong - Massive Attack have dropped some bangers in the past, especially in the late 90s and early 00s. I'm just not sure what their overall focus is now.
