Ceephax Acid Crew - Box Steady

Well, this album was a lot of fun.

Loving how this seems to reference all the facets of ceephax's sound, which is a nice change of pace since his last 2 full length albums had a more consistent, almost "professional" (lol) vibe.  I like it when he does his thing and bounces between genres as on here.

If i were hearing Capsule in Space and Fossil Funk for the first time, the album would probably be 10/10, but since I know them so well it kinda throws off the flow of the album for me.

Capsule in Space new mix is heavy on the bass.  I'm actually not sure if I prefer it, but it would probably rip on a club soundsystem.

Housedream kinda sounds like a Larry Heard tribute?  Awesome melody there.

Waltzacid is still my fav new track overall.

Newsround is a top notch smooth acid roller

It’s arrived. His full lengths are always amazing. Its black vinyl however when the mock up pic suggested it’s be grey or silver. Whatevs.

Guess it was just a weird preview mock up pic cause the background was black. Doesn’t say anywhere that it was supposed to be grey. 

Got my 2x12” in the mail yesterday and gave it a proper listen. The album slaps. 
Galahad stands up there among his greatest. 

No sign of mine yet, don't recall getting a dispatch notification either but hopefully soon!

Copy arrived today. Praise be!

Still cranking this. Its such a great album. I wish it had gained more traction on here.
