Posted Même in the Japanese IDM thread a while back, but worth a post here again, along with the other album and EP.

Sounds a little bit like Snd in places.

After careful consideration I came to the conclusion that Whistleblower is one of my definitive Soul-Sounds:

Yeah it is so god damn tasty!

Im a big sucker for glitchy Dub stuff which he is a master of crafting.
Example: Third track "Stop Talking" and 4 minutes in + the last minute.

I always had some of his music on my HD but never cared to listen cus I thought the name Vladislav Delay is kinda cheesy
like Alice Deejay lol

Here's a Bandcamp embed:

Also let it be known that this remaster is also almost a full reworking of the album - new edits of all the tracks.

"...first ever vinyl issue on the German Keplar label. Ripatti created entirely new mixes of previously unheard-of alternative versions of the tracks that first appeared on CD through his own Huume imprint in early 2007. He thus shines a new, different light on a record that was as much an expression of reaching a turning point in his life as it also showcased a new, more direct and perhaps more abrasive side of his Vladislav Delay project."

Essential stuff.

FWIW - this is probably a top 3 all time favorite electronic album for me, alongside Brownout and Orbus Terrarum.

I really like the weird melancholy of Shuttle358 music:

Yes indeed, my favorite is the album Frame. He master the clicky stuff also very well
