as words are defined not by the words themselves but the cultural and social context in which they appear, the worst word would probably appear in a language with heavy use of obligatory honorifics such as japanese.  probably the worst word is saying "you are a dog" while in the presence of the emperor or something

reminded of the scene in donnie darko where drew barrymore is talking about how "sell her door" is her least favourite expression in the english language, because it reminds her of her childhood when her parents had to sell the door to her bedroom to buy frosty chocolate sundaes

I cannot even explain what a Tucke is. An outdated swear word depicting a woman at least.

Escutcheon is a pretty terrible word. It’s way too complicated of a word for it’s most basic common meaning. There are definitely more words like that I can’t think of at the moment, but yeah- escutcheon should be something more esoteric (another stupid es word).
