I've seen, and experienced similar. And once that door has been opened, there's always a chance... Had one mate in my wider circle get locked up in Thailand after a bad experience. He was spiked and robbed, and he was always touched by the moon before then, but seemed quite fragile after that holiday.

I don't think I could handle psychedelics anymore. but I had a few interesting experiences in which I'm positive I saw demons/demonic shit. but so do a lot of people who dabble in that realm. in fact Albert Hoffman, the godfather of LSD, famously said this after one of his first trips back in the '60s:

I get invaded by demons.  It's an ongoing struggle and I dont need lsd to summon them.  They come on their own.

I have an arrangement with my permanent resident demons, I feed them atypical antipsychotics and an occasional benzodiazepine (or two) and they mostly keep to themselves. Mostly.

do you want them to go away? honestly man, I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for with posting about some of this stuff on here. if you're being real about this and its not some attention seeking thing on the internet, then talking to a therapist is a good starting point. I think you mentioned doing this in one of these threads.

I feel like i just have a natural deficit in my GABA receptors.  I need to keep a certain blood alcohol level to experience things the way most people do when theyre sober.  Im sober now but i was drinking when i wrote the original post.  Im a little less spooked now as well.  I think staying away from music and other entertainment media has helped me.  Therapy is coming soon but im not sure how itll help me.  Sometimes i just see demonic influence everywhere and it makes daily life very spooky.

Sorry i made this weird thread, my euphoria wore off and now it's just weird.  I dont disbelieve in demons but i dont know why i thought i needed to educate the world about them.  It's very out of character.

Maybe i just wanted attention, or maybe i wanted people to think im not weird.  It definitely backfired.

You're probably right, I'm just a hopeless romantic hehe 

Try acute, undiagnosed/misdiagnosed complex-ptsd, left completely unmedicated (or self medicated) for decades & a near fatal car wreck on top. Auditory hallucinations beyond full on, semi-hypnagogic, so you’d feel yourself nodding off to sleep then a clear voice would blast announce “everything is progressing, not far from level 7”, which as I understand it now was partial recollections of surgeons talking during an 11 hour operation to save my pelvis & legs.

The worst of it was being awake for 4/5 days completely unable to sleep, in & out of psych wards dissociating, hallucinating aggressively, fighting other patients hourly. Mid 2014 - late 2018. Bags of haloperidol and antipsychotics didn’t tame it. I could see shadows flickering through the cracks of doorways &, worst of all, shadow cats that would gather in groups, lurking & loping around when the light were off, red eyes beaming in the dark. Monstrous.

At the pinnacle of the abyss while wrestling Choronzon every second of every minute, my Dad got a terminal cancer diagnosis of the spine & passed away quickly less than 3 months post-diagnosis. Just quick enough that you were always behind the curve and slow enough for its horror to completely engulf us. Choronzon loved that, so I took him on with magick. Final score 1-1.

Trauma, chronic sleep deprivation & institutionalised Cuckoo nests will take you deeper & further out than any hallucinogen. Only after you’ve crossed the abyss can say you truly know your own soul. EMDR reprocessed most of the more malignant traumatic experiences but it’s still there, lurking, waiting for me to fuck up. So instead of magick I’m doing a PhD on traumatic stress services in the SW of England, so others don’t have to encounter the deepest recesses of the pit as fully due to lack of support & fragmented services that pass as care.

first sign of demonic possession is driving in the bike lane. fucking demons run amok. .

parts of portland look like this video btw. probably not such large parts but many camps, underpasses etc. city plays whack-a-mole cleaning them out once the carcasses of stolen cars become a problem.. or fires happen or propane tanks explode, or most alarmingly.. the camps spread off the curb into the bikelane. 

srsly tho.. r/portland sometimes reads like the diary of Deteective Somerset from the movie "Se7en" and other times there's lot's of nice pics of dogs and fall leaves. it's weird shit and mostly doesn't fit w/typical experience of living in portland.
