What we need is micro generation of reliable power at point of use - eg on everyone's homes, vehicles and places of work.

If you remove the need to transport the energy through infrastructure, you drastically reduce costs and pollution.

So now that the UK govt has decided to phase out gas boilers in new homes from 2050, I wonder what the replacement plan is.

I hope one day we each get a tiny fusion reactor giving us infinite renewable energy. Or at least small scale district reactors that drastically reduce transportation costs.

We need to remove fossil fuels asap.
