The Slab is damn amazing. Just a total wall of sound with things pinging in all different amazing directions. First play I was hooked.

am i the only one not feeling the new singles? it's all a bit 'dreampop by numbers' to me...

hopefully i'll enjoy them more in an album context

Good track that! Different from their usual style but still cool.

Only one listen so far. It's nice. Not as immediate as 'kisses' would make you think. More spaced out than the previous album.

first impressions - a very nice, chill album. I’ll definitely be returning to it and feels like it might open up more as the summer transitions to autumn. definitely the most impressive Slowdive album as far as the mixing and production go; I was especially surprised at how nice the vocals sound, how well they sit very upfront in the mix - quite unusual for them but it sounds really good. 

Looking forward to this

I can validate this assertion! Great album, really hits the spot for me right now. 

listened to zero singles. which is always recommended but difficult. 

very subdued lush ass beautiful album. not what i was expecting. but wonderful.

this is one of my favorite so far besides kisses. Pleased to see this classic shoegaze band releasing more amazing work.

listened to this the other day. great album. I will probably pick it up on wax when I see it in a store.

Been busy and not gotten round to listening to the album yet. Shame it's only 8 tracks long but still looking forward to giving it a proper listen tomorrow.

Nice, chill, and... unremarkable, but I didn't expect it to wow me, either.

Wasn’t expecting much from this at all but I think it’s fantastic. It’s a perfect slow burner for the coming fall weather. Definitely going to be spending some time with this one.

Listened and it's pretty underwhelming to be honest. Three of the singles were very good but the rest not so much.

Couple of songs in, like it. Slowdive just fucking rocks. Their 2017 self titled has grown on me big time. Really comfy music

it's good. hard to follow the previous album, which is perfect.

If you go to Wal-Mart in the late evening, they have this "Wal-Mart Radio" thing going across the store and I've been pretty surprised at how good the selection is. Last week, "PYT" by Michael Jackson was on and damn do I love that track. I was alone in the aisle so I was just singing it in an awful falsetto. I rounded the corner to this Latino feller and we were singing it at the same time lol. He stopped while I kept on and just went: "eeexactly" while nodding haha. Anyway, "Kisses" came on right after and I just couldn't believe I was picking up Dove Men's Care Comfort soap bars in Wal-Mart with a Slowdive soundtrack. I pulled this album back out and it's so good.
