µ-Ziq - “Grush” June 8th 2024

Lovely album. Have listened multiple times daily since made avialable. What a streak of releases.
Patiently awaiting Extra Grush to land on the doorstep...

Is it just me or is the album mastered poorly?  Almost sounds UN-mastered...

Listened on both my home hi-fi system and nice headphones.. odd because other recent (and old) planet-mu stuff has sounded great.

it's pretty quiet sounding to me, I think it was a choice though. Cozy beats

Ahhh, this whole album feels like Mike fully embracing what he does best - happy-ass idµ. The beats, the melodies, love it all.

These are the good times people.

I like it a bit! It is just little bit too hysterical for me.. I would love it if he had thrown in some chill tunes in there like sick porter pt.2

You know @cern... I keep listening to this album and forgetting that Reticulum A is actually a really wonderful little ambient piece.

Mike said that the extra grush stuff is going to release on BC at some point, so we'll get to hear it one day!

This album has been on such regular rotation already that I can safely say this is one of the best releases of the year so far and by Mike in general

I'm late but this album is really good.  Better than really good.  I'm noticing talk of extra tracks above and will be looking for them.

Windsor safari park is quite good. Interesting how a minute and a half in he just decides to change the key and turn it into a different tune. Love that retro piano line and tasty breaks.

Honestly this might be my favorite µ-Ziq album the more I think about it

Sweet

Just hearing Extra Grush now. Just as strong as the main album. Sounds like classic μ, kitsch chinzy synth lead lines flutter over mid tempo breakbeats and industrious basslines. The Grush sound is probably some of the funkiest stuff he's done since Jake Slazenger.

Just came back to this tonight on my late-night walk, and it's really held up.

But now I realized I missed the Extra Grush I'm sad please Mr. Paradinas, the people are crying out for more Grush!
