Another new single (oddly already) out. Strings and dings together but this is pretty wonderful.

I'm convinced enough to pre-order, I think. Think I'm always going to be iffy on 3 and 4, but these tracks alone are elevating this well above them.

Sadly this is not for me, give me his beat driven stuff any day

I always respect your opinion thumbass, so be interested to listen to this. I think I'm a little behind with his stuff tbh. It's probably just me, but his recent music hasn't hit the same spots as it use to. Bit to be fair I haven't given it as much time as I should of.

I think there has been a small dip in quality recently. His stuff is still good but not on the same level as it used to be. Of course no one can produce greatness every single time (expect ae and afx) so he gets a pass. The last one I really enjoyed was probably hybrid I, although that didn't wow me either

I've had the opposite reaction - I love the hybrids and xerrox 3 and 4 more than anything else he's released. The spacious soundscapes are more my kind of thing, whereas a lot of the Uni series can start to feel a little claustrophobic to me (though they are great albums too).

First listen. Pretty meh. However, 'Xerrox Kryogen' is a stellar piece. Maybe the rest will click in time.

Initial impressions - better than 3 and 4, not on the same level as 1 and 2. 'Xenonym' and 'Kryogen' are magnificant.

First time I listened to a Xerrox album, I really enjoyed it, especially liked Xerrox Ascent and Xerrox Xenonym. Reminded me of Quaristice's ambient tracks such as paralel suns etc.

I am currently giving Xerrox 2 a go as it seems to get a lot of praise among you alva noto superfans

He posted somewhere on Instagram that a box set will likely come out in 2025. I'd be there for that on vinyl since I only have these on CD.

Emotionally rich farewell to the series! All things considered, Xerrox is probably my favourite of his extended works. Glad to have it all on wax too.

its alright imo. hybrid 3 felt more "xerrox-y" to me
