TBH, Hongkong is my favorite Monolake era 😅 I have enjoyed the other albums to varying degrees, but I have to say I have a tendency to pick tracks from them instead of listening to the whole albums. Recently Gravity was also re-released on Bandcamp and I have been listening to that quite frequently.

Just realized I haven't even heard VLSI yet. Maybe I should go check it..

The differences between Hong Kong, Interstate, Polygon Cities, Momentum (the Cern/White_II single is one of my fav things he put out) Silence, VLSI and now this are quite noticeable to anyone listening. I do have to say Studio isn't my favourite release from Mr. Henke, but it's still pretty decent.

Gravity is now available, also as a fresh vinyl edition.

I don't know much about how Monolake albums are regarded, but Silence is by far my favourite. Anyone else find that one particularly special? It has something unique going on, even among some other great albums.

Holy cow, I've never listened to Monolake before and because of this thread decided to give this album a spin. Hah! Very impressed. This is exactly my kind of thing. My radar obviously needs a service and a tune up, to of missed this all these years. Sterling work watmm 🫡

Looking forward to investigating the back catalogue. I read he was the dude in Basic Channel. To be honest I've been scratching around for a very long time trying to find something that really perks up my ear drums. Maybe Monolake is it?
