In stock at Phonica now: https://www.phonicarecords.com/product/aphex-twin-aphex-twin-a-disco-pogo-tribute-disco-pogo/198237

Likely hitting other UK shops today and EU to follow... However for US/ROW Disco Pogo said this in a mailout recently:

US delivery before Christmas will depend on when the books clear customs but if they clear in the next few days (as we hope) then it should be fine.

ROW orders will not arrive in time for Christmas.

I got my copy just before the holidays, read in full during. Highly recommended.

It Doesn't Matter™
You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

I'm not a huge podcast fan as it is, but this was fuuuuuuuuucking boring lol. I gave it a good go but fucking hell. Don't listen while driving.

I just got sent an email saying my book has been dispatched. Only problem is they are using DHL to ship it and every time that company handles my stuff it arrives beat to shit. Maybe they are a legit delivery service elsewhere but around these parts they are the worst of the worst.

Finished this last night after  a few days of a big freeze and some power outtages. Stuck on the Merch tunes on random and got stuck in.

Its an excellent tome.... very well written and full of insider stories I hadn;t heard before.. i can't really fault it to be honest. I'd say THE book for any fan. Mostly it captures the vibe and the elation by the fans, friends, journos and  collaborators in a thoughful way in terms of chapters, pictures and content.  Brings the full arc of his career to light concisely and professionally as far as i can tell.

Heres the question though - were there any gaps or missing elements in Richies career? Im not so sure msyelf but could be. Perhaps a full upo to date interview on his own feeling of his output, gigs, fame, methods etc would be too much to ask but... let the enigma continue.. is fine by me too

got the book today. it's quite good.

i want the daft punk one, because i know way less about them than i do aphex

Anyone have examples of interesting insights or otherwise from the book that might not be known or previously publicly discussed? I'm somewhat skeptical on Aphex media coverage because so much of it in the past has been kind of bad/inaccurate.

Im not arsed to sift through it again but .. there was a lot of bits and bobs  and it does stand out against the usual journo scrapings
