It's got the joie de vivre and the sort of freewheeling, off-the-cuff attitude of his best stuff, and I think the short track times are part of this spirit, but yes I agree that it's more of a Bogdan buffet than a proper nourishing 3 course meal. I suppose it's also complement that most of these tunes are so fun and enjoyable I'm disappointed that they end so soon without any other development or additional sections.

Can't help but feel like this album tracklist was grabbed at random, everything feels disjointed and you have all these (sometimes very cool) under a minute interludes that just never get fleshed out and end randomly. and then the tracks that do get "fleshed out" and are regular length? pretty underwhelming imho! i would rather listen to some of these interludes on loop than the full length tracks... 

I really didn't have any hope for this album, but after listening to it I found it really beautiful. yes, it's short but I don't mind, I like it that way

Been absolutely rinsing the Boggy catalogue as of late as well. I must say I like this album more than ADDLE probably.

But God damn sometimes I forget why he's one of my favorite musicians. Boku Mo Wakaran is an album of such madness. Def one of the best of all time.

Been playing a lot of Samurai Math Beats and Renegade Platinum as well, but Boku will always be my favorite

myloveiloveilove still might be my favorite because I’m a sucker for his chill melodic stuff and this seems like the closest release to that, but I definitely agree most of the tracks are way too short. 

Alright! will always be my favorite by Bogdan closed by Boku after that 

But I don't know with this soft modular chip tune beats. 
Maybe will get into it ofc!

I thought so too, but I remember seeing an instagram post or story of his was complaining/worried that he was making an album on his super old laptop and that he wasn't sure if it were about to break but he couldn't afford a new one. Could be misremembering and it could be not about this album.

this is very nice! havent heard much else from him besides like 2 tracks from Samurai Math Beats thanks to Spotify's Daily IDM Mix when I used that awful thing. not that apple music is any better but still

anyways this is no like top 20 AOTY contender for me or anything but as an IDM album that came out in the current year it is quite good, favorites are scattered throughout the tracklist

Guy has always been better at coming up with clever titles than making music

He making too much focus on marketing with silly QR-Codes,Weird video on himself posing with his modular gear nobody even cares about just because he is sponsored by companies and in the same time he wants people to boycott other companies. 

Bogdan is little bit lost atm but I hope he will just spit out some more music and less marketing. And BTW Bogdan: Stop doing these silly 1-2 half ass finished tunes and make more stuff like alright!

I really don't like that trend of releasing snippets <2 Minutes of ideas with no concept, no development, right from your DAW. Like Early Access in gaming... I'm not saying they should create masterworks like a Shostakovich symphony, that's impossible for us mere mortals. But c'mon. Really.

TBF he has a history of making short tracks. ADDLE and Alright! are exceptions.

That's true but, say, Boku Mo Wakaran's tracks have so much depth and variation that it doesn't matter. I do have to agree that these tracks feel very dry.
