clipping - Dead Channel Sky (2025)

It kind of reminded me of Firestarter but more hip hop vocals than punk of Keith Flint.

Well I've only heard two tracks off it about three times and they were fucking mint, plus this thread is nothing but positive vibes so I'm very, very looking forward to listening to it in full

Listening now. Some awesome glitchy industrial drum production on this, right up my alley. Some bangers for sure.
The vocalist has a great flow but sometimes there are moments that veer a bit too close to musical theatre for me... (he was a cast member of the Hamilton musical...).
 

Starts out really strong, middle part a bit meh, then gets better again and ends very good.

Not my favorite album of clipping, but some tracks are pretty amazing. 75/100 

This album blows me away.  It incorporates so many of my favourite aspects of IDM, noise, breakcore and acid with hip hop, as no one else done.  Production is immaculate, and Daveed's delivery is intimidating.  I don't know how he does that.

Awesome album, I don't think they can top Visions but this does sound like a logical progression for them. I always wondered what their next album would sound like.... Need to listen more but I loved it when I put it on yesterday, the 1 minute songs too.

Loving this more with every listen! There are no tracks that I want to skip
