charli xcx has been the hip thing for a couple of years now I guess. It's alright. Pop music innit.

I found out who XCX was when I was asked to remix one of her tunes for a compilation (not one she had anything to do with putting together).  It worked out well, because right after that I matched with a woman who was a huge Charlie XCX fan on tinder, so I got to play the "oh I just finished remixing one of her songs" card.  We're still together 3 years later.  Admittedly I really didn't like the original when I first heard it, but remixing it was fun.
