New start, new name

Hi all, as you’re aware plans are in motion to start a new community building off the two and half decades of this one.

As you can imagine, this is not an easy undertaking so some patience will be required. Thanks in advance!

I think I said something about transparency and community input. 
With that in mind we’d like to start looking at a name for the new place. 
 

So the proposal is: two days for name suggestions in this thread (so ending at midnight Pacific Time on Feb. 5), followed by a poll.

Recognizing this will be contentious, I would like to suggest that as we are moving to a new place, we move away from WATMM for two reasons:

1. It’s a new place and a new name gives the community a chance to breathe and grow away from this place.

2. I personally would like to respect joyrex’s wishes about leaving the WATMM name as a piece of history. 
 

Welcome all name suggestions as long as they aren’t offensive. idmlaserbeamsbackflipsoffspike.com doesn’t really flow off the tongue so that might be something else to keep in mind.

dreamers.net seems to be up for grabs. The net domain always reminds me of a network and it's neat looking anyways  
You could expand the name on the actual site. The theme of We Are The Music Makers → We Are The Dreamers Of The Dream would be kind of nice. Lynch approved too Just a thought.

We're braindancingstorming here, but I like the sentiment behind @dcom's WATDD. WADD? WATDoD?
But I can also imagine a very near future were we regret not having taken more distance, and still being stuck with an acronym.

Let's just agree to not ask the s+r boys to christen the forum the same way everyone asked for them to name their synths?

Now without joking, I think the new community should be broader... We all know that Aphex Twin and similar are the Dad Rock of electronica—not saying that's wrong or bad, but we could push further without getting stuck, so a more "general" or "interesting" name not necessarily related to Aphex Twin or any featured artist might be cool.
