i like 'keyosc' or the variations of 'gonk' suggested so far. sound and look good, referential but not corny, vague enough to be appealing to those who don't know the references.

Otherwise some references to warp or braindance? trying to think of commonalities among the featured artists without being lame.

I agree with that and would prefer a name that's a WATMM reference instead of a nod to an Aphex Twin song. Kiosk is great, we are the dreamers of dreams would fit the bill, too.

well it lasted until now, don't even look at it like a double entendre nowadays, it's simply a name of an album from the artist which inspired the genesis of this forum and the name of the most precious subforum we already have...

ha yeah kiosk.forum or kioskforums is nice and like…nonspecific on its face. i’m all for more widely inclusive of music and people outside of the IDM-centric view like most everyone here is, something a touch less specific might give it some longer life / open ended startup (maybe that’s a detriment too tho idk, thinking out loud)

also i don’t really think of EKT as double entendre i guess it is a bit tho. otherwise would be nice

A variation of kiosk or EKT isn't too bad...I think "WATDD" is probably to close for comfort and Papa would probably nix it anyways

I like the idea of a name that could reference Warp's roots, or the Artificial Intelligence series, or maybe one of the deeper cut terms that aren't 'IDM'...so a jumping off point could be like:

electronic listening music
