Guest 死んでく
For din/midi sync I recommend the Roland MSQ-100. These boxes go on ebay for about £50 or less sometimes with midi cables. It's a one track sequencer that records you playing a midi signal live. That's ok for messing about, the sequencer is really basic, but the cool thing is it has midi in out and din sync ports so you can sync your 606 or 303 or whatever to a midi setup. Theres a Roland MSQ700 which is probably more expensive but has more tracks and features, have a look around... As for not wanting to pay a fair price for equipment, well that's not 100% cool. Instead of looking for a bargain from someone ignorant and exploiting him then isn't it better to pay a fair price what the machine is worth and make sure your community doesn't rip each other off? I'd be gutted if I found out someone suckered me into giving a better deal than what is deserved. These boxes go on ebay for about £50 or less sometimes with midi cables. i just picked one of these up at Value Village for $20 i don't have any use for it yet. i was thinking it would be cool if it could record all the midi commands being sent from Renoise, then i could play back my whole song from the msq100, have it control all my external gear in a 'live' setting without the need for a computer as for drum machines i have a Korg DDD-1. it sounds fucking horrible, but i have a ton of rom cards for it, and it has 6 individual outputs, so there is a lot of potential for routing/processing the sounds through other gear. i got it cause it was really cheap and i wanted individual outputs, considered the 707 cause i think it has individual outs too, but it slightly more expensive. plus having lots of ROM cards to change out is nice. i have no idea what it's like to try to write a pattern on it, and have no desire to find out. i have a roland R-8M, better sound, more built in kits, 4 ROM cards, cheap, 8 invidual outputs. i bought it from my friend, and i actually have never even turned it on before, but it's in my rack and hooked up to my mixer and in my midi chain. and i have a tr-808 rom card in it =] basically i just want an akai s5000 Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/11132-drum-machine-chat/page/2/#findComment-230602 Share on other sites
