Well, there were reissues of old BBC LPs onto CD in 2002 or 2003 and the Rephlex LP was all of the tracks from all the CDs reissued.

There are two CDs that it was from.

First good electronic music track was by fuck knows. I'd say the first purely good electronic shit would probably have to be some disco shit or electro. I'd personally plump for electro and something such as Cybotron's 'Clear' as the first good electro techno tunage.

I have listened to all of aphex`s work beginning with his debut LP in 1939 `klag` which I still maintain is the first `good ` electronic song.

Also he is the first rave artist to use microtonal scales.
