BOC Tracks You Hate?

I personally can't stand One Very Important Thought, Basefree & Iced Cooly.

i despise Alpha and Omega, dont really know why

i think if i delved into a bit i might find something along the lines of it being based around the tonic chord for the whole piece of music, cos that really pisses me off, but i never listen to it to check this.

i'm sick of turquoise hexagon sun. i don't hate it though. just thoroughly bored of it.

the old tunes Trapped is a blasphemy compared to the excellent mask version, and basefree is definately one of my least favorites. but I wouldn't go so far to say I hated any BoC tracks.

Although I must say, I always thought the Meat Beat Manifesto remix was rather weak.

I have never really liked Sixtyniner, Open The Light and Amo Bishop Roden.

I love Sixtyniner.

This sine melody that stands alone around 1:10... it's awesome.

'Amo Bishop Roden' is irritating as hell, whilst 'Rue The Whirl' is just shit. I hate them both.

amo bishop roden is all that comes to mind. i dont hate it, but its probably me least favorite

All of the tracks from twoism, and a beautiful palce out in the country. I cant think of what a single of those songs sounds like and probably because I never listened to them more than once.

Yeah, I disliked Alpha and Omega from the first time I heard it, what a pointless and annoying track. Even more troubling is that I've seen so many people list it as one of their favorite BoC tracks, which makes me despair the future of mankind.

As least favorite tracks I'd have to include the ones others have mentioned, Basefree, Iced Cooly, a few of the Old Tunes tracks, Zoetrope. Hey Saturday Sun, Peacock Tail, and Skyliner get on my nerves depending on my mood. I never liked Smokes Quantity for the longest time until I saw it used in that Youtube UFO compilation, and now it has a more positive association.

most of the last two releases has been pretty meh as well.

I was pretty sick of Alpha & Omega by the time Geogaddi came out because it was the promo 12" for that album and I'd heard it about a million times.

Im not a fan of some of the cheesier dancey early 90s sounding tracks from Old Tunes such as Up The March Bank, The Way You Show or Breaking Nehushtan, but thats probably cause they sound nothing like Boards of Canada do today.

if i was gonna fill out favorite track from each release, music is math would have been the one from geo.

and amo bishop roden, whoa great tune. sixtyniner, alpha and omega. i think its all extra good. but it could be mood related. its not all good all the time.

the two tracks i mentioned i didnt like we simply because they seem lackluster or flat. they dont actually annoy me. they're just no pull to listen to them. up the march bank sounds like what they would be playing at a university grad ceremony and track 4 on old tunes is just too loud, doesnt fit. but its extra short.

its for zoning out man. you dont get amped and go shredding while listening to that tune [though i really enjoy that track when it comes on and im riding the lift up at sunshine village]
