I think that Vibert/Simmonds "Weirs" album is a Rephlex classic!

After I heard that track "Path T'Zoar", I had to own it.

the vinyl version has two extra tracks on it...

yeah, I agree... weird how they were omitted from the CD release.

its really really good but i wouldnt compare it with parmegiani!

to answer to myself i would say its rather a mixture of weird sounds (like boomkat said, BBC radiophonic influence for sure) made with analogue synths/machines & loads of awesome ambient/atmospherical tracks (think Selected ambient works II) & also loads of radio captures (one from 1986 & sometimes voafose gets a bit crazy on the pitchbend/sound manipulations). a great (ambient?) album.

& it doesnt sound like a 2006 record. which is great.

i'm gonna go look for this tomorrow.

don't know man, sounds pretty much like formless abstract stuff. the first one was ok if you like SAW II, but the rest was for noise fans. i'm not one of those. probably won't get this one.

seriously all the EKT stuff is much better than this! Voafose album is really weak almost horrible, If he wasnt friends with Grant and Richard this would never been released.

i bought it of warpmart but the cd i got is fucked up: cant read it on my cd player: i have to play it on my computer or dvd. that said its on heavy rotation.

ps: get it mate, even my virgin megastore has copies of it: no excuses!!!
