LP5

All this Confield and Chiastic Slide talk is whetting my appetite for a nice juicy LP5!

Drane2 is fabulous, Corc is probably their most beautiful "song" type song. Rae's beats are amazing while I am crying from the pretty chord progression. Arch Carrier is straight up punch you in tha gut. 777 and Acroyear have some of the coolest drum sounds ever. Fold4Wrap5 will go down as one of the most innovative electronic tracks of all time, Under Boac's swirling nuttiness is like a tornado of a headache, Melve is a pretty little number thats sets you up for the mental horn sounds of vose in.

Great album. Not as many "hidden" or "complex" moments or emotions for me as there are in Confield, Chiastic, Draft, or even Untilted. LP5 is more upfront and while rhythmically complex and compositionally astounding, less complex with respect to emotive ambiguity. My second favorite AE album. Probably Corc being the highlight. maybe Drane2. actually maybe fold4wrap5, or rae....

I love the awesome whipping percussion on 777.

Edit: you haven't been listening to too much Causitc window lately have you? No you haven't. Within the year people will be asking, "who the hell is this mysterious Arch Carrier guy with over 7000 posts?"

I would like to hear some outtakes from this album. There is a lot of untapped potential from this sound I think. Well I mean, I consider LP5 to be a very concise and well put together album, and needs no more tracks. But I listen to live in Vancouver or in NY in 2000. Such cool sounds y0!
