that's why i love carol of the bells... in minor... very intense emotionally, but kind of bittersweet... beauty with some tension...

Where was it stated that the tracks needed to be upbeat? And btw.....Christmas is not a happy time of year for alot of folks.

did you play that first time, or sequence it?.. and how did you do the whole slowing down thing?.. is that a tempo automation?..

No just an experiment. Its just two synths each playing a different range. And some automation. And a few other things I did with the midi(I downloaded a midi file) that are less important. But I could add drums.

The first one is the newest, and most relevant (two of the tracks are about the Winter Solstice, as opposed to just xmas.) And it also contains two covers.. Greensleeves (i know the original wasnt intended to be a Christmas song, but it has been appropriated over the years) and Silent Night.

The second is older, and is just all original holiday tracks.

It will be late, but i'll try to get a little christmas smile song in on christmas eve
