discuss your favourite ae remixes here there are so many and i could spend ages talking about how great they all are.

ill start:

Vliezwei (Vliegenbos Morning Reproduced by Autechre) - 10/10

wouldnt it be nice a cd with the best of those remixes? ala parts in the post

i have 5 cdr fulls of ae remixes (most are ripped from cds) & yes its very good & the styles are quite different from ambient techno to abstract digital madness. another thing warp could release one day would be the autechre archives on dvd on 7 cd box set...

yeah but you forget warp are becoming stupid and forgetting their roots.

i dunno, i have all of them, and 90% of ae's remixes are shit, imo

Lexis - Hypnotize

(nearly my favourite Ae track including their own ones!)

the Earth remix was heavy.

my favorite is probably the Boogie Down Bronx mix. I first heard the opening seconds I was disappointed that theyd destroyed the catchiness of it, but the track slowly morphs into its own funk. It feels like it could fit on Envane quite easily.

Heh... funny thing about that... I remember reaading they said something like the reason it's crap is cos the original source material is crap... cept they said it less up front.

speech3 (conoid tone reformed by autechre) is the one I love :D

yeah thats quite nice - the first ae mix i ever got actually.

the soft ballet forms remix kecks serious bottom. sounds like the turntable is breaking down half way through.

that's prob my favorite.

that remix actually sounds very similar to the original which is surprising.+ one of their most uninspired remixes is on that jello remix cd why did i ever get that.
