Thought I'd give a heads up here in case anyone wants it, if anyone replies here in the next couple of hours I'll sort you out.

Been working through all the new sets again in preparation for Manchester at the weekend.

Sets C and D show them on a real hot streak, S-Tier stuff all the way and easily their best since Exai I reckon.  Kind of hoping for another D set on Saturday (can't see them going back to C but wouldn't complain if they did) - this stuff is so dense it helps to have a bit of a headstart going in.  Still, if they go for a new E set bring it on, if they keep up this quality I'm all here for it.

I'm 100% on board now for their new live-only release strategy - SIGN and PLUS were pretty good and all, but there was nothing in there that blew me away like this.  All Autechre fans will now sound like ageing deadheads of course, arguing whether 'El Paso' sounded better on Red Rocks 78 or Cornell 77 or whatever.  Works for me though if the sets are this good.

El Paso sounded best after the 8/27/72 Dark Star, for what it’s worth. 

Looking forward to Manchester.  Only three more sleeps.

those curves and the flatness and thinned out little edge remind me of seat cushions for patio furniture but minimal.. for a very pleasing patio to hang out on.  will this reflect the sound of the set they come with???

Have the best time tonight, all! Shocked I managed to sneak my mics in my trousers given New Century having intense security as always. Wanted to tape all four of the sets, but it might be impossible to tape anything yet as the venue is empty and I’ll likely be seen and have my kit confiscated. Getting at least some of the rest on my phone, so at least there’s shoddy mono something of those. Fingers crossed, and either way a great night ahead!

I presume we’re all expecting a standard and slightly evolved Set D?

Set D is so gorgeous. In Lyon and Lisbon it felt a bit front-heavy to me, but the way tonight it moved from its gorgeous melancholy psychedelia and rose to pure ecstasy by the end was so powerful. Wowza
