I've been drinking Stone's Double Bastard Ale pretty often recently (the brewery right down the street from me). Tastes great and one 24 will really get you started.

great brewery. im a big fan of most of their creations. ive been drinking their IPA...

beer_draft_stone_ipa_2.jpg

which is excellent. very hoppy and bitey with a smooth, floral aftertaste. im a hop head so i will almost always be drinking on IPA's

yeah i love their stuff, the IPA probably being my favorite as well.

sure is, worth trying.

if you like porters/stouts, that is

you US people are Lucky, with so many great brews (living next door to the Stone brewery? fuuck)

we have all the belgian beers, sure, but no decent stouts or IPAs. ok, geuzes are nice (if you get past the initial sour/tart-shock), and saisons and trappist/abbey-types are wicked, but i'd prefer a motor oil style imperial stout to them any day!

Lions head is the shit. We live not to far from the brewery.

You can't beat $10 for a case of bottles. 4 people each chip in 2.50 and you've got yourself a party.

Guest Deep Fried Everything

it's funny to me how those from the uk always talk about stella like it's the piss of piss, but how much better to me, as an american, it tastes than american lagers.

but it's certainly no Bells.

and i do love me some rogue ales chocolate stout  :flower:
