It does any pattern you want inc swing i beleive but the sound is allways thesame.

Although said to sound great and less great when sampled etc. was used a lot by prince i beleive.

Never owned one but did own a forat/linn 9000 which is great fun and had a linn lm-1 sample disc with it.

i just remembered... thats the first one to use samples, isn't it?

this puts the loop sample/origin debate in a nice, silly context.

i got a linn lm-1 kit for my mpc, but thats no substitute etc etc
