the EP was stunning, and this (the new tracks) also sounds very good.. judging by the samples.. i like the carrout soup. i like the strange nostalgic quirky sound he's developing since those cavalcade tracks - especially when its not as plastic & polished sounding as on cavalcade&hospitality. good stuff, looking forward to it.

wtf

It was on Sacred Symbols of Mu.

it was also up on the last step myspace for a time. havent checked recently though.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.

It's funny how it works...

Anyways, he's never officially confirmed it. but Mr. Gerbik must know something I don't because he submitted it on discogs as fact.

I know for certain it's more than 1 person. 100% on that.

if it is Venetian I think it'ssome of his best stuff, I could undestand wanting to disassociate himself from the name because all the people wanting breakcore would be greatly disappointed.

Vsnares wouldn't put this on his myspace:

Influences: The Carpenters, Giorgio Moroder, Drexciya, Phuture, Depeche Mode, Luke Vibert, Mozart, Jean Michel Jarre, Roland, The Human League, DMX Krew, Throbbing Gristle, Vav Jungle, Jeff Mills, Simon and Simon, 808 State, Glass Tiger.

Who knows what all he listens to really?

But I mean, based on the sound I'm not inclined to think it's him (though he has taken a more melodic approach as of late), but I've found several sites that say that it is. Of course they could be misinformed. I've never heard of Last Step until now.

i remember last step did 2 tracks called

"chris moss fan club acid"

&

"chris moss flam dub acid"

both quite nice tracks, when i asked mike paradinas about the tracks he said they might be a piss take, though when i asked the man himself he said they were nothing but a tribute track, which was rather nice

I havnt spoke to him in a while, but next time i do i;ll ask him if i can upload the tracks!

apprently he was quite a fan, maybe still is? who knows? we had a nice disscussion about the esq-1, fun times, fun times

no last step did the last step p168

i only did a track called "last step acid"

I think this now seals it, Mike P has to release a split EP with Last Step/Chris Moss Acid. It's practically illegal not to.
