yes you are right about the stromberg. i wont buy it at the release. but maybe in a few years, when the novelty has worn off and the price has dropped, i'll buy one 2nd hand. and still, seeing companies working on new wavetable synthesis stuff makes me SO EXCITED TO THE POINT OF RIPPING MY CLOTHES OFF AND ROLLING AROUND NAKED IN THE STREETS. HOLY SHIT. i mean, its good to see them carry on with their ideals instead of giving in to the novation-generation - well, the only obviously commercial step they took is rehauling the look of the synths (that white color combined with aluminum knobs is HORRIBLE).

as for the blofeld, who cares about built in analog filters? i'll get myself a few ssm's and build one myself, or i'll hook the blofeld thru my sherman filterbank, or through any other analog filter. which is way more flexible since you can decide what kind of filter you wanna use.

F'real when waldorf went bankrupt it was a slap in the face to all electronic musicians. I can't wait to see what they are cooking up! I really hope they kick those access virus people in the nuts to be perfectly honest.
